Registration Form for
Photo Contest and Poster Presentations (PDF)
Call for Poster Presentations
At the Texas Division IAI
72nd Educational Conference, individuals will have an opportunity to
participate in Poster Presentations.
Topics in the fields of
identification, crime scene search, or items of historical
importance to identification are appropriate. Presenters can
bring captions, graphs, drawings, models, or other exhibits to
assist in explaining/demonstrating a process, technique, idea,
unusual case, or item of historical interest.
The well-designed poster should
inform the observer as to the basics of the subject matter, as well
as any conclusions, therefore freeing the presenter to focus on
discussion of essential elements of the work. The presenter
does not give a formal lecture but will stand with his/her display
as observers pass, and at that time, reviews the particulars of the
presentation with those individuals.
VCIRs, televisions, monitors,
computers, and other electrical components will not be
provided.
It is the responsibility of
the presenter to insure that his/her poster is picked up at the
conclusion of the poster presentation.
The deadline for submitting the
application will be May 31, 2009.
Individuals interested in
presenting a poster exhibit may submit a poster registration form via
fax or send it electronically to:
